A voter's request: Protect genuine choice for Christian schools in Victoria

The upcoming 2026 Victorian State Election presents a critical opportunity to secure commitments from candidates regarding faith-based education.

Debates about religious freedom and faith-based schooling are increasingly shaped by concepts of neutrality and secular modernisation. It is vital to remind representatives that genuine diversity includes the freedom of Christian schools to operate transparently from a declared faith basis.

Christian schools in Victoria serve families from diverse backgrounds across Victoria and contribute significantly to the public good.

However, the ability of these schools to remain Christian in nature relies on their continued freedom to employ Christian staff and maintain Christian teaching.

Please send a message to all parliamentary candidates and representatives urging them to support Christian schools ahead of the 2026 election.
